“The
road to IIT” a seminar based on the IIT-JEE entrance
examination was held at Hotel Kanha Shyam on 24th Nov. The event was
co-hosted by Education Times & Career
Launcher Allahabad part of Panacea People; its main purpose was to throw
light on philosophy, scope & content for IIT-JEE. Panacea People being a diversified unit has been in to education
sector since more than 15 yrs. Partnered with some of the esteemed organization
Panacea People is also providing employability and business solutions.
The main speaker was Mr. Sanjeev Mishra who has been into
teaching since over a decade and has helped thousands of students preparing for
IIT-JEE and other competitive examinations. He apprised the participants about
JEE Main & JEE Advanced question paper and how one should prepare for these
examination. On the basis of JEE Main one can get admission in NIT’S &
IIIT’S while JEE advanced is mandatory for IIT’s and ISM Dhanbad. The audience
included students from almost all the reputed schools of Allahabad who are aspiring
to have engineering as their dream career. Mr. Mishra gave detailed
understanding about the various sections of the entrance paper. He briefed the
participants about the syllabus and how to manage their time while preparing
for these competitive examinations. The students of class X, XI & XII find
it extremely different to manage their school curriculum and simultaneously
preparing for these national level competitive exams. The syllabus for these
exams is very wide and students find it extremely difficult to comprehend.
Thereby the need arises for proper guidance and support. Mr. Mishra even shared
“Success Mantra” on how to crack IIT-JEE.
The event witnessed a footfall
of 1500+ Participants and approx. 400+ parents were also present. Roughly 200
were denied entry owing to the limited capacity.
Adding on this occasion Mr. Gaurav Agarwal & Mr Vishal Gulati of
CL Allahabad stated that CL has been involved in many such initiatives designed
for the benefit of the students. They even thanked Education Times for
lending support in making this event a success.
Mr.
Mehul Rawal North India Head Career Launcher was indeed
very delighted to see this enthusiasm among the student, went on records saying
“It’s surprising to see that the parents are so much involved and are taking
time out of their busy schedule and helping their children in choosing their
careers.” Career Launcher invited all the students to appear for a Scholarship
cum Aptitude test on 1st December 2013 at its Allahabad centre in
two slots; between 11:00am to12noon and 4 pm to 5:00 pm. All the students
interested in pursuing engineering can write this test and avail the benefits
of it.
The event was appreciated by
the students and parents and they look forward to more such events in the
future as these are very informative and help them make the right choice.
